Beta Marine yacht design and naval architecture is a relatively young Croatian company on yacht design market. The company was founded in 2003 by Nikica Bilic M.Sc.Naval Architect. The headquarter is situated in the city of Pula, on Adriatic coast, world known center of shipbuilding industry. Although the owner's considerable expirience in yacht design and naval architecture, the company had to start from the begining, presenting and building itself step by step. We started as contractors or subcontractors for new small workboats production, yacht refit projects with few concept yacht designs. From the begining our idea was to emphasize good contact with our clients. It has to be a dynamic cross flow of information and ideas ending with the state of the art final product in sinergy with the sea and environment. Today, Beta Marine yacht design studio combines the latest in design technology, but we did not forget the old white paper sketches, trying to transfer your wishes to reality.

My career as yacht designer and naval architect started as a natural consequence of life at sea. As a child I spent the most of my time fishing on fishing boats, wind surfing, sailing, diving, practicing rowing and other watersports. After a high school in Pula, I attended the Adriatic Nautical Academy and the University of Naval Architecture in Zagreb, where I graduated in 1998. As a consequence, I was working for few renomated shipyards, first on CAD/CAM ship design, and after as a chief designer and project manager. Now, I am the owner of Beta Marine company, expanding the business even on other fields, enabling thus the company to be stable in always variable world financial and economy conditions.
